
Bethesda, MD – STudent Achievement in Reading (STAR), a national professional development initiative for adult reading instruction, has just released its latest research synthesis for practitioners in advance of the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) 2023 National Conference, April 2–5 in Atlanta, GA.
The research synthesis was developed with the support of two national reading experts, Dr. John Sabatini, a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Memphis, and Dr. Elizabeth Tighe, an Associate Professor at Georgia State University.
Lori Meyer, STAR Project Director at Manhattan Strategy Group will join Sabatini and Tighe to discuss the synthesis at the COABE session, Evidence-Based Reading Instruction for Adult Educators: A Discussion on Trends and Insights Impacting Student Success on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in room INTL 2 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
